About Us

Consupedia was officially founded in 2016 by Roberto Rufo Gonzalez, with a vision to create a hub for fully transparent and factual information on the sustainability of food. In 2017, we received our first approval for funding by Vinnova’s Social Innovation Program together with researchers from Dalarna University and the KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

In 2022 Consupedia was nominated as one of ten finalists for the Food Planet Prize, the largest monetary award in the food arena.
