Consupedia’s real declarations use circular category scores and coloured parameter bars. For comparable scores, a higher number is better: 0 represents the weakest assessed performance and 100 the strongest.

0Lowest assessed performanceSignals where attention or improvement may be needed.
100Strongest assessed performanceMakes stronger results easy to recognise and compare.
RAWEvidence stays visibleValues such as kg CO₂e/kg remain available beside the score.
!Not everything becomes a scoreWarnings and classifications use the format that best fits the data.

Deep enough for experts.
Clear enough for everyone.

01

Match the product

A GTIN connects the physical product to identity, ingredients, nutrition, origin, certifications, packaging and other available evidence.

02

Structure every ingredient

Specialised Consupedia agents parse and normalise the ingredient list, quantities and relationships so the data can be calculated and compared.

03

Connect trusted sources

Product and ingredient facts are matched to research, authoritative datasets and Consupedia’s domain methods.

04

Deliver usable intelligence

Scores, warnings, raw values and source information become available for APIs, procurement, analysis, reporting, apps and communication.

Why a logarithmic score? Product footprints span enormous ranges. Consupedia’s research-led 0–100 scale preserves meaningful differences across both lower- and higher-impact products instead of compressing most products at one end.

How certifications are used. Verified KRAV and organic certifications can add bonus value to relevant parameters—including biodiversity, pesticides, working conditions, antibiotic resistance, animal welfare and eutrophication—so documented production choices are reflected in the product view.
