Consupedia is a Swedish company that helps you both as a consumer or as an active person in the food industry, to make sustainable decisions. We do this through digital tools connected to our database (one of the world’s largest and most detailed in terms of food and sustainability).
The idea behind Consupedia was born in 2015 when Roberto Rufo Gonzalez lacked a place where a product’s durability could be calculated. It was the beginning of a research project in collaboration with Dalarna University and the Royal Institute of Technology. The project developed a methodology and tools to provide information about a food’s impact on environment, health and fairness. The same methodology is today the basis of the spider diagram used by Coop, climate numbers and sustainability points used by the wholesaler Martin & Servera and by players in convenience stores such as Reitan and Convini.
How can we help you?
Are you a producer who wants to know how sustainable your products are and how you can make them better for both people, animals and nature? Or are you a wholesaler, do you work in retail and want to find out which products from your range cause problems in sustainable development, and want to offer your customers more sustainable choices? Or do you work in a municipality and want to measure and have clear control and follow-up of purchases for reduced resource and climate impact?
Transparency for a sustainable
food system
Our vision is a transparent food system that shows consideration for all living things. By using our services you contribute to that vision.

More than CO2…
Sustainable development is more than measuring CO2. To get a complete picture, more parameters must be taken into account.
